Alcat Precast was established in 2001 by Allen Farmer
Following in his grandfather's footsteps, Farmer had been working for the family septic business since the young age of 13. After several years of working in the installation and maintenance of septic systems, Farmer had a strong urge to expand into manufacturing septic tanks to meet the needs of local installers and to share his knowledge of the industry with other septic business owners.
Farmer’s close relationship with Clearstream Wastewater Systems, coupled with their desire for a distributor within the state of Virginia allowed Alcat Precast to set roots in the manufacturing of Clearstream Wastewater Systems beginning in 2001. The family-owned company quickly became a trusted, local manufacturer, seller, distributor, and resource for contractors. The business has since expanded to serve parts of the Eastern Shore, eastern North Carolina, and southern Maryland as well.
